The checklist below covers all the steps you need to take in order to sign up for a degree programme at HAS University of Applied Sciences!

Registration at HAS University of Applied Sciences

15 November - 1 May You can register for a bachelor’s degree programme at HAS University of Applied Sciences from 15 November 2017 until 1 May 2018.

You do this on the Studielink website.

Studielink will send your details automatically through to HAS University of Applied Sciences. The International Office of HAS University of Applied Sciences processes the applications of international students.

Financing your studies

You may be eligible for financial support for your studies at HAS University of Applied Sciences. See the DUO website for further details. You should register with DUO as soon as possible, to ensure everything is in place before you start your studies at HAS University of Applied Sciences!

Enrolment for study programmes in Dutch

If you wish to enrol for a Dutch-taught study programme, please go to the Dutch version of the HAS University of Applied Sciences website

You can register for a study programme at HAS University of Applied Sciences from 15 November 2017 until 1 May 2018. You do this via Studielink.If you are a Dutch citizen or have Dutch BSN number, you log in using your DigiD code, otherwise, you can set up a Studielink account and login directly.

Step 1 – Check the admission requirements for your chosen study programme

Step 2 – Apply for DigiD or create Studylink account

If you are a Dutch citizen or have Dutch BSN number, and do not yet have a DigiD, you should apply for one here.

You should use your DigiD to log in to Studielink.

You will find you BSN number om your passport or Dutch ID card.

If you are not eligible for a DigiD, you can create a Studielink account and log in directly.

Step 3 – Register via Studielink before 1 May 2018!

Once you have decided on your chosen study programme, and have set up your Studielink account, have your personal details at hand and complete your registration via Studielink!

When you register, you will be asked to enter the CROHO number (the Dutch Central Registry of Higher Education Programmes) for your chosen study programme.

Step 4 – Complete the Motivation Form!

We will send you a link to an online Motivation Form, which you will need to complete as part of your registration. You should make sure we receive your completed form by 1 May 2018. Once we have looked at your Motivation Form, we may have further questions. If necessary, we will invite you for a discussion.

Step 5 – Provide important information

You will receive an upload request containing a personal link which will direct you to a web based application with instructions for how to upload the required documents.

Please upload the following documents within 6 weeks after registration in Studielink:

  • A recent passport photo in colour 1
  • A copy of your valid passport or ID card (front and back)
  • A copy of your Dutch residence permit (if applicable)
  • Your curriculum vitae
  • A copy of your transcript of records 2

1. Scanned as separate .jpg file, 3x4 cm, 200x300 pixels, max. 50 mb, 200 dpi, we cannot use a photo in pdf file.
2. In case you haven’t graduated yet, please upload a transcript of records including your results so far.

The following documents are also required, but may be uploaded later if you haven’t obtained these yet:

  • A certified copy of your secondary school diploma or other prior education diploma or certificate - Deadline: Before 15th of August 2017
  • Your IELTS/ TOEFL/ Cambridge Esol test results 3 - Deadline: Before 1st of July 2017

3. Not applicable in case you have completed your entire previous education in English or in case you have obtained a diploma of secondary education that is mentioned on the Nuffic Diploma List.

Important: please specify the exact name of your diploma in the title of the scanned document.

Step 6 – Digital authorisation for payment of tuition fees

In order to start a study programme at HAS University of Applied Sciences, you will need to pay your tuition fees. You can submit a Direct Debit via Studielink.
