There is only a limited number of computers available for self-study at HAS University of Applied Sciences location Den Bosch. There are no computers available for self-study at location Venlo. You are therefore strongly recommended to use your own laptop. There is a WiFi network available.

Below you will find the minimum requirements that a student’s laptop must meet, in order to be able to get the most from the facilities provided by HAS University of Applied Sciences.

  • 4GB memory
    Minimum recommendation for Windows 7  32-bit
  • 80GB spare hard drive memory
    Needed for standard applications

Wi-Fi standard IEEE 802.11n 2,4/5GHz

  • You will get the best connection with the wireless network at the HAS sites by using a laptop that supports Wi-Fi at 5GHz

Software

  • Windows 7 SP1 home, professional, ultimate*
  • MS Office 2013
    To enable you to follow the teaching materials provided by HAS University of Applied Sciences, we recommend you use MS Office 2013.*
  • Up-to-date Antivirus en anti-malware*
