For EU students the tuition fee for 2021-2022 is € 2,168.
The Dutch government is halving tuition fees for 1st year students in higher education. Those who meet all the conditions will pay € 1,084,- instead of € 2,168,- for the 1st year. Read more about the terms and conditions below.
For non-EU students the tuition fee for 2021-2022 is €10,186. On top of the tuition fee other fees apply:
If you are a student from a SEPA country (all EU countries + Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Switzerland) you can pay the tuition fee by setting up a direct debit from June onwards. If you are admitted to one of our study programmes you will automatically receive information when it is possible to set up the direct debit. The deadline for paying the tuition fee is 1 July.
If you are a non-EU student (excluding students Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, and Switzerland) you will receive an invoice along with information on the visa application procedure from the International Office. The invoice will contain an amount of € 10.900 as a payment for the tuition fees, visa fee and insurance fee.
When it appears that you have paid too much (for example because we do not have to apply for a visa on your behalf) you will (when you have arrived in the Netherlands and when you have arranged a Dutch bank account) receive the too much paid amount back on your Dutch bank account from the department Finance & Reporting in September.
