At Applied Geo-Information Science, you’ll explore the world of virtual and augmented reality for four years. You will be performing data analysis and data visualisation, for instance in infographics. And you will be taught a solid dose of geography. You will learn how to design information about place and time in an enticing and creative way, using new media such as smartphones, tablets and apps. You can do so for instance in the Geo Lab, where you will be working with the latest hardware and software on spatial solutions.
During your study programme you’ll learn how to combine geography, new media and design. You will do so for instance in lectures, seminars, projects, workshops and internships. But you will also be taking field trips regularly, in the Netherlands and abroad.
A Applied Geo-Information Science degree will give you all sorts of professional options, for instance in the world of design, with a research firm, a geo company or with the government.
