In the Applied Geo-Information Science bachelor programme, you spend 4 years exploring the important themes of today and tomorrow; from climate change to the future of the city. You collect, analyse and visualise geographic data. Examples include infographics, story maps and dashboards. In this way, you learn to use the latest technology to present information about location and time in a challenging, creative way. Our own Geolab is your home base. It’s the perfect place to work with your fellow students and the latest hardware and software on spatial solutions.
This is a Dutch-taught bachelor programme. Students must master the Dutch language to enroll.
During your study programme you’ll learn how to combine geography, new media and design. You will do so for instance in lectures, seminars, projects, workshops and internships. But you will also be taking field trips regularly, in the Netherlands and abroad.
A Applied Geo-Information Science degree will give you all sorts of professional options, for instance in the world of design, with a research firm, a geo company or with the government.
